The thank you and the fact that I know most of us here are smart enough to listen is more than enough... but for future reference; when ever you want to add to someones rep, all you need do is click on the little scale below their name on the post :thumbsup

It's like the commercial says... Lots of us know when we've had way to much, but what about 1 too much. Know you limits, driving buzzed is still driving drunk.
I would recommend to all that drink to get some idea of your limits.
A weight to drink chart can be found here: http://www.beerboozebooks.com/bal.htm
Please try to keep in mind this chart is only an estimation and CANNOT & Should NOT be used as a guide for how much you can drink and get behind the wheel... but it's still better than no knowledge at all.

There was a family of 3 in the car that the truck hit, they all died (one of which was a little boy). The car that rearend it had 3-4 people in it and they were all hurt pretty bad. The two guys in the truck were both drunk off their asses but otherwise perfectly fine.
See this is why I am doing this...Innocennt people die everyday and these assholes do not think about what type of damage they cause 2 the peoples familys...This is yet just another sad story of what drinking and driving does to the everyday people out there just running around....Best wishes to this family

you should find someone that'll do a nice paintjob on the van featuring your family's picture and MADD's logo or something.. jsut a thought.
My uncle does airbrushing freehand he is one of the best in NW PA so he has offered to do this one for free....This van will be a full mural with my bro and sis's portrait on the van along with a full collage

First let me say sorry for your loss and that I am glad to see you taking it in the right direction in promoting the anti-drunk driving cause.
I think more people need to be better informed on what the their own limits are when just getting a driving license, rather than just showing some stupid lil video of the aftermath.
I say this from experience... because about 8-9 years ago I got a DUI... blew a .104 (which was just over at the time) now the law stands at .08 in Ohio. I was not plastered and thought that I had not pushed my limits, but I was wrong and admitted guilt as I have always supported MADD. I went to a 3 day DUI program and can tell you that for the people like me that took it as a learning experience, it was very helpful and very informative. These types of classes IMO should be something for ALL to learn... not saying that everyone needs to be locked up for 3 days to learn it, but should be a major part of the education of getting a license... especially when you have kids that aren't even old enough to drink getting DUI's. I now know my limits and will NEVER exceed them.
After my experience in the classes I wrote the judge and actually thanked him and passed on some of what I've stated here... and you know... he actually called me and asked me to come back to his courtroom... so I did.
That day there was a class taking a feild trip to the courtroom and he called me up to the bench to make my statement as I did in the letter I wrote him and then gave me back my work driving permit.
Keep up the good fight!
