To answer this one Kicker recommends 3.25 ft3 (92L) + port displacement,
3 x 13.25” (7.6x34cm) port, 14.5” (37cm) long
But if you've got the CVR's and are happy with them... stay with them.
If you're looking for something that will hit harder... I believe in my opinion there are much better subs for the money than the L7... Hell you could probably get 2 hard hitting 12"s for that kinda money or just one good 15" :thumbsup

For some reason I thought he said 2 L7's vs 2 cvrs... Obviously in that case the L7's probably had the ablity to get louder.....

And yeah, something around 2 cuft tuned to 32-35hz would sound pretty good...

Actually, 2 CVR's can get just as loud as one L7 and sound many times better. CVR's can get pretty dang loud if done right. What amp do you have pushing the CVR's?? I would suggest you throw 800-1000rms from a decent quality amp at them and you will never look back.
i have the two cvr's in a q-logic bandpass box right now, and they sound pretty damn good... but if you guys say that it would even sound better in a ported enclosure, i just might try it! how much space should each chamber be???

the amp i have running the two cvr's is a kenwood kac-9102d, here is the link to it:

First off, get the cvrs out of the bandpass box (I'm assuming its a prefab box)... Secondly, it depending on the install the cvrs will probably sound better than the L7's, the L7's will probably get louder though. I would personally build a nice ported box for the comp vrs... The L7's have some reliablity issues, the cvrs will take a beating...

I need to know what type of box these sound good in? And also, will one of these subs sound just as good as two Kicker Comp VR (twelves) in a bandpass box.

What's a perfect or near perfect measurement of the internal volume of an enclosure for a 12" L7??
