i went to bestbuy to look around (not necessarily to buy) and i got a good deal (which means i talked them down on the price) about the same as what u said i could get them for , from somewhere else..

Best to watch your step there son... This isn't one of them kinda forums :nono :
We take great pride in CAC and try to be as professional as we can be, sure we goof of from time to time, but we give each other respect...
Remember you asked us what we thought about this... and you sure as hell ain't got enough of a reputation around here to be tryin to put an admin in his place like that.
Ryan is actually a great guy and the reason many of us joined here to begin with, he's just tryin to answer your question with the info you've given him so far.
So please be kind and you'll find CAC a great lil book-o-knowledge :happy055:

News alert:

I want this this and that, but its a tad more than I want to spend unless it plays DVD...

Dude, its a $169 wonder unit.

WTF you think it is???

Hey, maybe I was being an asshole, but you are being an idiot.

You yourself are the one talking about $169 being more than you were looking to spend, not me.

This is the same guy from another board Im on, which Im sure is how he came here (which is fine obviously). GUy wanted 6x9s, went round for round over other ideas, finally got 6x9s. Went to BB to get them, could of got them online for 1/2 price...lol.

The thning that chaps my ass, is now all the sudden hes cheap?

:thumbsup

Now Ive said my peace, I will exit your topic to never return. THe rest can answer/help you- Im done.

this is right up your alley http://www.crutchfield.com/S-fSatct64VR ... 105KDAR870

and also you did say you want a cheap one because you said 170 is more than you want to spend for a NON-DVD player. also you probaly dont want to call Ryan an Asshole since he is one the the admins and a very good guy

i never said i had to get a cheap one asshole.

yeah i want a usb port because it seems easier.. i mean if i dl a song ,,,and i want to listen to it in my car...theres really no point of burning a cd with 1 song on it... so i just add it to my usb card and bam i can listen to it.

but idk there is also this option

(it has built in 1gb memory)

A lot of those have the detachable face and remote in fact I think they all did.
What are you wanting the USB port for?

by Ryan from Ohio » Sat Nov 25, 2006 9:30 am

So what your getting at is you want it all, but you want it for next to nothing?

Look into Dual, its probably right up your alley.

Keep in mind, you get what you pay for.

Until that sinks in, well lets just hope that sinks in very quickly. Otherwise your going to have a long road ahead...

I was looking at a Pioneer earlier that SonicElectronix.com had for the same price as the one you have listed. Its not a tv/dvd and all that buts its a great head-unit with all the features you should need for a long time.

If your budget is tighter than that check these out they still offer great tuning capabilities at a budget.

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6290.html Pioneer Premier DEH-P480MP * BLACK FRIDAY SPECIAL! 119.99

those are all nice but like i said i want one that has
detachable face
remotecontrol
USB port

by Ryan from Ohio » Sat Nov 25, 2006 6:25 am

You get what you pay for.

Ponder that diddy for a bit.

Smoker had a HELL of a DVD setup for like $300? Had a screen, dvd, two sets wireless headphones... All kenwood...

Believe it or not I actually know which h/u that is.
It's a Legacy... Now for the bad news. Legacy's are not known for performance or durabulity, so please stay clear of that... especially when you get a company trying to pawn it off as something better by not listing the brand name of it.
If you gotta have a dvd/ video unit I'd rather see you go with Pyle View than Legacy... Best bet for a good reliable dvd/ video h/u would be Scarells suggestion... Jensen :)
