Myself personally... I love civics (probably wouldn't own one unless I got it for a steal), but they make up a quarter of my market (Ricers)... so I gotta love that lil car for puttin money in my pocket :)

the whole fast and furious thing is exactly the reason why i won't buy a civic.. other than maybe a newer hybrid one, assuming they get extremely good (40+ city) gas mileage. and i had the money.

but i'd still buy the S10 first... atleas with a truck you don't have get everyone in your car-community thinking a wing and unpainted body kit will make them faster.

You think S-10's are bad? Try owning a Civic. :p

I bought my 95 in 1995, before the whole "fast and furious" thing happened.
I actually bought my car because it was something unique to trick out, and since the autocross guys were all over them for the dual-unequal length A-arm suspension and low curb weight, performance parts were all over the place. Sport Compact Car magazine was a little tiny rag of a magazine.

The stuff I've done to my Civic is different - mainly because it's mostly understated stuff. My only "sin" is a carbon fiber hood, and I bought some carbon fiber side mirrors so it didn't look like an unintentional bolt-on part at least... and really the only reason I bought it was because my hood got damaged for the third time and needed replacement. I'm sure with my luck with hoods, this one has a limited life as well. :p

I meant to get it painted, but simply haven't had the time or the willingness to cough up the cash to do it yet. It actually doesn't look bad on this color car, but eventually it'll drive me nuts and I'll have it painted. I don't like people looking at me like I'm some college kid... although it is funny seeing people double-take sometimes when I disarm the car, maybe wearing some nice shirt and tie or something. :D

that baby has the 4.3L Turbo and all wheel drive, currently dropped and faster than a corvette 0-60. It is a true low 13sec pickup. 0-60 in 4.8sec...IN THE RAIN!!!
^times like 4328 or more even :p
Syclones and Typhoons are awesome lil beasts... not so easy to find anymore though.

I really like the F150 1999 Dropped 2whl drive, ive seen some guys who drop them and they look soo nice with that billet grille in the front...

It is funny you said that (about they all look the same) When I did mine, it was the only one like it in tulsa. 6 months later, there was 3 more that were almost the exact same.
