Ya, I thought that was pretty cool.
VBadvance has some nice hacks, the portal page is made by them.

I didn't notice what version of VB it worked with. If it's only 3.6+ might have to look into upgrading.

I do have to show this off tho.
Got an email about this new hack from VBadvance

Just looking at the screenshots it looks pretty cool.

I've seen the Gallery hack and like it, but right now I think I want to hold off adding any more hacks to this version of VB. Since 3.62 is the current version now, and I'm sure they are working on another one as we speak.

So I want to see what the next version offers and then maybe upgrade, and then start adding hacks to that version.

I really do wish the webpage hack was ported over tho :(

We had a webpage hack, but I believe it couldn't carry over when we upgraded the software. We'll have to look into a gallery thingy.

I know that Invision software offers a Gallery add-on for their forum software I think it would be nice to have something like that for Platty's on here. May inspire people to keep a gallery and make it easier to do build up's and stuff. May even help with tutorials... Maybe a tutorial mod that you can do step by step with pics... I think that would be cool.

well.. i'd plus 1 for the webcam girl.. make it platty only though.

I try to put up some kind of more technical topic now and then to start a discussion, but usually no one really inputs into it. I have an interesting thread I found on another site to post up here with regards to reflections and things. I usually am only able to get on here to post on my breaks at work for a little while. I try to get my homework for school done at work so I'm able to get other things that I need to get done when I go home.
So yea, I try to contribute when I can. If there's anything I can help to do more, let me know.

well for images on the board, I know personally I get tired of uploading to another site to link to images as opposed to having a button to post images here directly, which discourages me from posting many pictures. Many people may not even have a host to use unless they go to photobucket or something.

the site ebbs and flows with traffic so there are slow times and busy times.. this tends to even out as we gain members (with most boards anyway) but on a personal note I've been busy here with work on the car being put aside thanks to an impending need for a new kidney with those who've offered to donate one being a bad match, or unable due to family history, or just backing out, then our heating system (water pump) failed.. AGAIN.. which cost me $8,000 to replace. That was NOT an expense I was expecting, nor one I enjoyed much. I've sunk about fifty grand into this f'ing HVAC system now and it's finally working just in time to put the house on the market come Spring. Also, a large part of my belongings are packed, or getting packed for a move next year.

Been a busy and not all so pleasant Fall.
