see thats just it... they look well too simplistic... No i dont agree that xbox has too many buttons because they all serve a function and seem to be used very well... where as when i try to play game cube i feel like i am supposed to have a 3rd hand or something ... just my thought but yea i mean i shouldnt comment to highly on this new system only because i have never used one

they all look the same to me, i honestly dont know what the hell else they can do with game systems, i play rippin riders and sega gt on a dreamcast every day when im sitting in my office at work and find myself thoroughly entertained, when i was a kid there were no game systems, we went outside and did things and all the cool stuf we talked about at school wasnt electronic at all unless it was a calculator watch.....

Have you even held one in your hands? They are incredibly simple to use, much easier then the Xbox and its 19 buttons...

That W ii is the wierdest looking console i have ever seen... I cant even really figure out how to use that controller. I mean maybe because i am a solid xbox player and i dont like to change up controllers, but i have always found Nintendo controllers are really difficult to use

but then, that doesn't mean that the wii isn't going to have all the violent, innapropriate, contriversial (sp) type games (fun ones!) that we love. or even the rpgs.

It's just that's what they'll be getting and I know that there are alot of old PS1 games that I can get that are more kid friendly, so I'll probably get some of those cheap.... but here's the suprising thing... at 2 years old, she is really into cars (probably doesn't hurt that I read heard bed time stories out of car mags), so she'll probably be into racing games.

I don't really care one way or another, but... my grandchildren on the other hand... I'm sure will. My grand daughter now 2 years old and will be a lil gamer in no time as she loves the lil games she has now, so I may invest in a PS3 later on cuz I know my kids are getting one after all the hype dyes down.
This way the grandkids can come over, bring only their games with them and we can spend some quality time together playing games... $600 dollars is well worth that :)

Last one I owned was playstation, before that Super Nintendo...

Moral: I dont really give a shit about video games...
