I quite like this Brutus...
http://cgi.ebay.com/HIFONICS-BRUTUS-BX1 ... dZViewItem

How old is this series, how much should I pay MAX for it???

Do you guys think it's a good overall amp??

by chodecz » Thu Oct 26, 2006 12:32 pm

The guy doesn't wanna ship to me... oh well.

My search goes on.........(any further recommendations?)

by Bwcad1 » Thu Oct 26, 2006 5:36 am

not over a 1400.1

by chodecz » Thu Oct 26, 2006 5:34 am

So you'd recommend this amp over all the ones you recommended?? (hifonics bx1606, autotek MM1400.1, elevation audio dx1500.1)

quailty components dont loose there value bro.

That price is wack. I did a little searching and the original price back at the start of 2003, yes almost 4 years ago was only $325!

Some guy was selling a MINT one for $285 shipped over 1 year ago! Check it out: http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=110062

I reckon $200 shipping to UK ($70ish) is a good deal ;)

yes dont buy from ebay they arnt authroized dealers and you will never get a warranty replacment on the amp i dont care what they say. as far as that amp its on the inside that matters. i bet its just 2 screws that are loose on the rca terminal and the screw terminals are easy just go to your local hardware store.

by chodecz » Thu Oct 26, 2006 4:43 am

But the RCAs are fcuked and theres screws missing from the speaker terminals. Plus loadsa scratches!

You say don't buy brand new from eBay!?? I think this would be a much more dodgy purchase, as the amp seems to be cared for like a piece of s**t! lol

What was/is the retail on this amp? Is it made by Adire?

I might offer him $200 with shipping to the UK, see what he says ;)
