when you get up at the level like us ryan you will understand ;) most of the problems with blowing woofers come from experimenting with odd and new enclosures. on top of that expermenting with diffrent ohm loads. and being able to drop in a dual .7 ohm coil and seeing if you gain over a dual 1 ohm coil. that is especially nice for hunting down the magical reactive load of an amp.

I didn't say it was a selling point, but when I talked with an Audiopipe rep those were the exact words out of his mouth... Although he did also state that these were designed for the entry level spl competitor and that they were the ones that would be most prone to blowing them quickly, so they wanted the recone to be as quick and easy as possible.

Still funny as hell though :p
