That figures.. actually now that I look at google maps, it is only about .75 mi from where my aunt and uncle live, and literally about 200 ft from where they used to live! I know exactly where it is now, next to some old restaurant/bar place.
I'll be sure to pay a visit to them the next time I go to Akron..

I sent an amp to these bozo's 5 months ago and the communication is awful.

When I killed my van gogh about 5 months ago, I shipped it to them. After calling about literally 20 times, and actually talking like 4 times, I finally got it back, but not before filing a claim with paypal and then having to resolve the claim to get my amp from amp repair center. I got it back, and it worked for 20 mins, then died again. I shipped it back, had to call literally 7 times and finally scott there said he was going to swap a spare board into my amp and fix it once and for all.

After that, he called to say it was done but that he wouldnt be shipping it because he saw the paypal claim thing, but didnt realize it was resolved. I explained that it was, he admitted he was wrong and I have not been able to get him to call or email me back about it. I know that the guy at caraudiocentral filed another BBB complaint, because there used to be 1 complaint and now there are two. I left a vm with him today that I will be "pursuing action" if he doesnt call me back after today. Stupid paypal wont let me file another claim for this idiot, and I'm not sure if I want to drive to akron to go to this place by myself...

Anyone still up for a ride to this idiot's place?

Justin from Detroit wrote:Just wanted to update. I sent money for them to ship my amp back last wednesday. It is one day transit from them to me. I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY AMP.

I sent them an e-mail asking where the hell my amp is, and of course no response.

What kind of legal actin can I take if they keep my amp?

Well Justin, you're not alone.. I sent my $400 dollar amp to them for repair, they sent it back after many weeks (of course I had to call every couple days and email), the emails were being answered fairly quickly for awhile. I paid 160 bux, and didnt hear anything for a couple weeks and filed a paypal claim. Then he called and bitched about that.. once I took the block off, he shipped it and then after getting it back, it worked for 20 mins, then just started blowing fuses. I sent it back, after 1.5 more months, and many times of calling for updates, Scott asked if it would be ok to swap another board into mine from another amp in there area, i of course, said sure. Then a couple more weeks went by and he stated that he would be sending it out. He hasnt returned a call or email since then. I finally am threatening action, but havent settled on what.

If anyone wants to go there in person with me, let me know. I live in mentor, only about 50 mins away.
