Feel a lil like Dorothy now!... I don't think we're in Kansas anymore Toto :)

Glad to hear that you're still in one piece and not picking toes and teeth outta trees.

There are a lot of tornadoes down here, but they rarely are powerful at least. Just get to the strongest part of the house!

Almost got taken out by a tornado!

The other day I was working on my truck in my uncles shop when the sky turned black and it started raining harder than I have ever seen.... Then I heard a whistling noise and the power goes out.... You could hear the wind outside and it was freaking crazy...

Well it turns out that the whistle was a tornado. It was right over the next ridge (about 200-300 yards away) and it snapped power line poles, huge trees, flipped over trailers, ripped off roofs there was pieces 4x8 tin dangling in what trees that were still standing...

My uncle had no damage at all (like I said, the tornado barely miss us), but the ever where to the left got a huge amount of damage. You could see the path the tornado took, it pretty much followed a gravel road for a few miles...

Anyways, just thought I would share that story with you all...
