PPI will have to work VERY hard to bring their rep back to what it was with the Art Series amps. Probably will never happen...

I have PPI pc275, the older dark gray amp. Are the new ones crap are do they have the reputation that the older art-series amps have?

Many companies have fallen into this rut.

Look at Orion, PPI and Im sure there are others. They start out as small companies built around a solid product. THen once they get a big enough name are sold off and everything is outsourced to Asia and the quality goes into the crapper.

ya know there was a day when pyle was one of the top players. i dont know what happened to them but back in the day i was running a couple of pyle pro 10's and they were damn nice. i have probably had maybe 4 systems that had some form of pyle sub in them. granted its been a while but they did have their moment.........

These brands are horrid, I know. I was just wondering how do these type of companies stay in business? I've checked that pyle audio home site and, there most expensive sub is like $250, who puts out that much money on shit? I know people still buy them, but when they listen to them, why do they stay with it?
