My ex has an 05 civic lx, and she uses this RF transmitter/charger combo and it works well. I wish I could remember the brand, but it has both built in and was around $70, but this was several months ago.

The RF transmitter really didn't sound bad at all on the stock soundsystem. I had never tried it on anything else though.

i have a 2002 honda civic lx. i have the stock haedunit. is there any ipod adapter for the stock headunit i have. i already know about tape deck itrip and stuff. im looking for something that will play my music as clear as possible. i realize that there are headunits out there that are ipod ready, but i don't wanna buy a new headunit. is there anything i can do/buy to get the same quality sound out of my stock headunit, as an ipod ready headunit.

i don't want any help on speakers, i just wanna know if there is anything i can do with my stock headunit and ipod, or if i have to buy a new headunit.
