Didnt you just change your tranny fluid? If so, how did the old fluid look/smell?
Have you checked your fluid level lately?
Old fluid looked and smelled fine there was a bit more metal powder in the pan than should have been. Fluid is full and yes if I unplug the solenoid it runs fine.

Never had a problem with it stalling at all, and it seems to run fine in park/neutral except sometime is sputters until i rev the engine, then its fine again but its never been an extreme problem, just slightly annoying. As for the shaking that is a pain in the ass so if its the solenoid and i can get someone to replace it for like 400 bucks ill do it.

The only other problem i noticed is the car seems to be running rich.

It was running lean before I replaced the fuel filter (o2 sensor was white). I have to check it again and see if its black. Im wondering if adding a cool air intake and maybe exhaust will solve this.

well the torque perverter is all fucked up, its either the TCC solenoid or the valve bodys in the tranny leakin but it shakes when the torque converter is engauged and you have your foot very light on the gas so i have to drive it like i stole it.

Haha, my blazer gets around 18-20 in town and 23-24 on the highway....

With the v8 it'll probably get around 15-17 highway and around 10 around town...

Your car should be able to oull around 30+ on the highway...

yeah, i wish i woulda got a GT or somthin. I dont think its worth new pistons and gettin it bored out. Gasmileage is worse than i expected. about 20 mpg city 24+ highway but I hammer it sometimes.

Edit: Worst of all its a girly purple LOL

2.2 liters of fury... haha, seriously though, they arent really that bad of cars considering how cheap you can pick them up... I'm thinking about getting one up for a daily driver so I can v8 the blazer and not die with gas prices...

What kind of car do you have?

well it was the relay for the fan that died. I got a new one for 15 bucks what a rip off lol. I put in a fail safe thermostat, changed the oil and changed the tranny filter and fluid. Hopefully the filter is in the whole was. I pushed it in as hard as i could and it didnt go any more. God cardboard gaskets or whatever suck. The gasket was fused to the tranny and it took me like 30 minutes to an hour to get it all off.

was it running crappy before you got it hot?

Take into fact that the tranny fluid runs through the radiator (auto) it probably got pretty hot itself, I'd probably go ahead and change that asap...
