Looks good J-Red. Thats a good deal on the fuse holder and fuse. Those are pretty dang expensive from a shop. But hey a watt sounds like any other watt so it should sound good. :)

thanks for the replies.... got the amp all in, i was worried that i wouldnt get it in today because i had everything but an AGU fuse and holder, luckily there is a guy in town who sells car audio and he sold me an 80 amp agu fuse and a Rockford Fosgate agu fuse holder for a dollar!, which is awesome. so i was good to go there, then i ran my 8 gauge power wire and it ended up being a little short, luckily a good friend of mine came through with some 8 gauge wire he had layin around in his car, so i was golden then, after that i just used what was left from the 8 gauge and used it as my ground, got it all hooked up and it lights up and everything, but it was getting late and i couldnt see very well without a flashlight and didnt feel like messing with it then, so i didnt hook the speakers up or anything, but i am going to do that tomorrow. ill update tomorrow and let you guys know how it sounds.

was that member me? lol i dont remember but ya pa stuff is pretty decent for the price i know a lot of guys running the 3000dbs strapped at 1/2 ohm. and gettting over 6kws on 17v.

The two PA amps I had bench tested didnt do their rated power (about 70% of rated power). However, the kid I know who installed them in his car is still using them now, 3 years later, so I havent seen reliability problems myself.

no matter what, thats a good deal though.

yeah.. Power Acoustik hasnt ever caught my attention, but ive been reassured by a member on here who is very knowledgable, and tells me PA amps do close to or atleast their rated rms.. but this isnt going to make me buy all PA stuff, lol... i was hoping get a JBL 80.4 to match my 600.1, but i didnt have enough for any of em. but im hoping for good results..

by Ampresearch » Wed Jul 12, 2006 2:27 pm

heck for the price its well worth it IMO. on the PA's i have tested most did just at or maybe a bit under rated power but only at 14.4 but like you said for 30 bucks you could not ask for a whole lot more. when you set it up and run some test be sure to let us know how it does. I love hearing about different equipments performance no mater what the price
