I really had no idea that is how much the tuner cost. I honestly thought when I looked it up it would be similar to satelite radio tuner, around $100. Over $400, more then the actual HU, is ridiculous.

if all you do is listen to radio, it is a good buy, but if you listen to more CD's than radio, well then through speaker placement, clean amps and gain control, your sq will be better than what HD radio currently offers.

Well since you know what HD raido sounds like do you think it's worth it? I would guess the sound quality can't get that much better can it?

wow yea but my brothers stock HU in his Matrix had HD radio in it and i mean this is an AC Delco piece of junk, why does the aftermarket feel that its that it is right to charge that much money?

LOL what a POS! Well if they want HD radio to catch on they will have to drop the price! At least the radio sounds great but I was hoping it could sound a bit better but not for that price.
