no like they said, the remote wire to your amp is hooked to the power antenna wire on your head unit. you need to hook the remote from the amp to the remote on the headunit.

So what do I have to do? I gotta replace the ANT Control wire with the Power Control?

by jonnyb » Fri Jun 23, 2006 10:42 pm

yep, sounds like it

sounds like you have your remote wire hooked to your power ant. lead instead of the remote turn on lead on your head unit. double check that, I bet that's it.

Ok. I don't play the radio much but I figured out that my subs and amp were only kicking on when I play the radio and not for a cd. So if anyone knows what I gotta do, hit me back.

Im gonna say Loose Ground, same thing happend on my friends truck... Check your Ground wire and make sure its correctly connected to both the Amp and its grounding spot.

by OnYrMrk » Thu Jun 22, 2006 7:13 am

I have a short fuse, so does that mean that my mind has a loose wire?

by Bwcad1 » Thu Jun 22, 2006 5:31 am

short = fuse

on and off = loose wire

by Chris from Washington » Thu Jun 22, 2006 4:38 am

sounds like a bad ground, or some other loose wire. Check to make sure everything is connected properly, and tightened. Double check everything.

If everything looks good, and the fuses look good. Could be something internal in the amp that is loose. Bad solder joint, ect.
