[quote="Ryan from Ohio"]Well the only thing you were technically running off your remote was the relay Bill ]

exactly moral "get a relay"

yea it kinda looks like one of those firework snakes that lil kids play with... except its a wire and melting plastic and rubber going through your car... not cool

Well the only thing you were technically running off your remote was the relay Bill ;)

Relays are a must have if your going to run more than 2-3 things off your remote. Burning a remote circuit out is no fun :(

ask chris he would be better able to answer that question hes the led king!

by CaptainPioneer » Wed Jun 21, 2006 8:51 am

when you ran those LED's what kind of a device did you use to wire them all together, and controll them? Im curious because i need to do this on a table I am making and i figured that LED's might be the best route

i put a relay on my remote wire and i ran 4 hard drive cooling fans 3 amps and about 40 leds without any problems.

Well i can actually say that i did draw too much off my amp and had a small fire off of my remote witre and Neon wire that i had hooked into it, then again i was using a BOSS amp lol so i dont think my opinion counts here.

Neons do not draw much power. Before I used the relay that Ryan sold me, I had two amps and 3 neons wired off the remote wire.

I wouldnt run it to the remote wire.

Im sure Justin has probably done this. But Im always fearful of pulling to much amperage thru remote wire and burning it up.
