wire each sub so it's coils are in parallel for a 2 ohm load.
wire one sub to each channel of the amp, unbridged.
should work out just fine.

They are both 4ohm DVC subs

Will this amp work?

by moonman24 » Fri Jun 09, 2006 8:44 am

I have two RF P310D4 subs and a RF P8002 amp. The RMS on the subs are each 400watts@2ohms. The amp is 400watts RMSx2@2ohms. It is a 2 channel amp. If it is bridged it puts out 800wRMSx1@4ohms. How should I wire my subs to the amp to get 400watts RMS to each of them? I NEED HELP
