Pointless

by dmeyer07 » Fri Feb 25, 2005 2:28 pm
25% of people rated Rainbow as acceptable???!!!? I think I just heard Jesus cry....
That poll seems kind of stupid. As stated above any one could vote, and half of the votes are based on nothing at all, no expiernece with them, hell i bet half of the voters haven't even heard of some of the things they voted on.

They should have made it for members only.

No reference to this board. THOR ANGRY!

I noticed this thread is gone now.

Excellent idea making the FAQ's limited to registered members.

At the end of that post you made, you should add, "Necessary Legal action will be used" or something to that effect.

by Ryan from Ohio » Tue Feb 15, 2005 9:24 am

From this point forward you must be a registered CAC member to view our FAQ's.

THis will help protect us and stop people from stealing our FAQ's. I talked with Justin about making the FAQ section a Platinum only section but we decided not to go that route. So this is the first step.

Thanks,

If the post is not cleaned up removed in a timely manner I will be seeking legal avenues.

We will not stand idley by while people rip off the hard work of ours and our members.

It is not required by law to display the Copyright deal, but is wise. We can still lay claim to the list as we have it first and have proff of it.

by William from NOLA » Mon Feb 14, 2005 12:36 pm

I think it's time to put a copyright notice on the bottom and top of the list. This should go for all FAQ posts as well. ESPECIALLY Kiki's, he's put a LOT of time into many of those which I don't want to see just ripped off.

by Ryan from Ohio » Mon Feb 14, 2005 11:47 am

I wrote a message to the owner. Basicly putting it that it is copyrighted material and that this is considered copyright infringement and must be removed.

If one of us - Chris, Justin or I give written permission then it may be used. Otherwise it is illegal.

Much work has been placed into the FAQ section as a whole. If we let one thing like this slide pretty soon our whole FAQ will be loaded onto other sites.

If they do not comply I will seek legal action- end of story. I have devoted WAY to much time to this board to have our FAQ/Knowledge get raped like this.

IT WILL NOT BE TOLERATED

Furthermore, what good does it to steal our post. THen complain about it elsewhere? The sensible thing to do is post about it here where it came from...

Anyone know who this Pyle person is?
