glad to hear you were able to find the problem and fix it. Most of the time cheaper rcas break at the terminal , if you can unscrew the cap you'll see two wires sodered to the terminal. Thats where all my rca's have usually broken. As far as im concered the only reason to buy higher priced rca's is how well the internal wiring is sodered.

Not really. There are a few places, but most of them are only so, so.

BUT................ thats where I come in :thumbsup

the culture of places that actually have it is great. Seeing places that most people in the U.S. will only see on T.V. or in a movie. The food is awesome. Usually there's some good Cola or BAH involved. $$$. And usually, bases over seas have a more sense of urgency and mission than being in the states. And that just makes for a hell of a lot better working environment. The last time I was in Germany (living there) their car stereo's sucked something awerful. I hope things have gotten better there sinse '91-'94.

Yeah I applied for a EPCOT, but I don't know if I will get it. If I do I will be here till may 09.

Yeah let me know what happens. It would be nice to have another quality installer in the area. Might be able to work something out.

Bill ther are good, and bad points to living over here. Some people love it, others hate it. I like being around so much history, and experiancing the european culture. Plus the food and beer rock.

what is it with all you guys stayin over there is it that much better?

I just suggested poping the speaker because it would be quicker. It's all good Jeremy. :)

Did I read somewhere you extended to stay in Germany another two years? I'm trying to get back out of the states. If I can find a job in Germany, I plan to take it. So maybe I'll see you over there. I haven't heard anything on the job in Japan yet. :(

Or swap the speaker wires at the amp, and see if it moves sides.

Sorry AF I couldn't resist.

Honestly there are tons of ways to narrow down the problem. Personally I like to move things at the point that I feel the problem is (amp) and go from there. Like swaping the rca's and speaker wires (one at a time).

In the end it doesn't matter how you find out whats broke. All that really maters is knowing what part, so you can get it fixed.

Since you have the subs running stereo rather than bridged, your amp might not have anything to do with it. The sub that's not playing may be blown and/or the wires inside the box may have come disconnected. pop both speakers with a 9v battery and make sure they both work. At least that way you can rule out whether that's a factor or not.
