kevlars really need a sealed or tuned enclosure to really bring them to life. they sound decent IB but a ported box tuned to 50hz for the 6 1/2"s almost make it so you dont even need a sub.

So much concentration put into the two least important octaves in the music spectrum :rolleyes: If there was as much effort put into midranges as there were high excursion subs, our music production would be so realistic that you'd swear you're in a concert hall. :D

i guess no one can give an opinion on the bravox BVX yet cause its not out yet. I have one on order but i wont get it for another 2-3 weeks. and Bravox has its own sound and it depends on which model you get.

I like the W6v2 a lot better than the old W6AEs. Much cleaner all around.

Some of the best SQ subs out there were the old Image Dynamics IDWs.

Imo, The w610 had better sound quality than the w6V2. I owned both of them at the same time and had each of them in my camaro at separate times. The V2 had a better low end responce and seemed less power hungry. The W6AE i had responded very well to the 300 watts i put toward it. The s/q was far better than my RE10 and a L710. The V2 did get louder but responded alot better with a Memphis M Class 500D. IMO, the W6 1st edition was a better choice for s/q, but the V2 did get some louder. T

Thats just my experiance...anyone else?
