I need it for a show this weekend. My KX will probably be in this next week.

But there needs to be some bump to show off the system with this weekend.

besides, the store doesn't need to know why it isn't being installed, since I ordered the KX from a different source.

Why have it installed then?

Just get the new sub in the box sealed and sell it that way :)

If they dont have a signed work order by you agreeing to the switch in equipment (to a more expensive) then they cant charge you for it...

Sounds like nobody has proof of what you acualy bought and HAVE in your car.

No proof=no case.

I think as long as you can get something in writing from the guy who quit, you're set. Just threaten to take them to court if they don't change their mind.

i think it would probaly fly in court. have you talked to the old manager and have him talk to them? how much do they think you owe?

:flame:

up in smoke, gotta get the new KX in soon. Will take it back, get another sub, and then when the KX arrives, in it will go.

but on another account, I need some help here.

during the time I was getting my stuff installed, I had paid my bill. Then some of the equipment would work with what we needed so we shifted our equipment (we being me and the car audio manager). I was told we are all squared up but before my car got out, the car audio manager quit. Now the shop says I owe more money, when it was never discussed. I paid my bill already, and it shows paid in full. But they want more money.

I told them that if they trusted the Manager that much to let him work with me directly, and when he left he didn't disclose our agreement, then they have no legs to stand on about extra money coming from me. Only drawback is that the current install does not reflect the bill I have. I am in a bit of a pickle here and wonder if anyone can give me some advice on what to do.

When I picked up the car, I asked them if I owed anything. The staff said no, and my wife was witness to it. Would that stand up if confronted by management?
