Hey, if I stuff my current box with fiberfill it will make the sub think the box is bigger than it is correct?

they did

If they are anything like Lowes, they will take it back.

when you get wood cut at a place you always have them measure it and look for yourself...... i dont know if they will take it back or not since you have taken it home... but give it a try i guess...

by Mithrandir » Thu Jan 06, 2005 2:24 am

then im gonna return the wood to home depot and flip shit on the guy

Imma straight kill those mother fckers if they dont give me my money back.

Once you start putting it together you will see. Unless all of the cuts are perfect, you will have gaps.

i am not sure on sealed boxes about if the measurement is off it will effect it greatly, but i do know it will on tuned boxes...

ok i went to home depot and this old dude cut my wood, some is off by 1/16, will that matter?

by Mithrandir » Wed Jan 05, 2005 2:32 pm

here are my measurements

Height - 14
Width - 32
Depth - 16

Front - 14 x 32
Back - 14 x 32
Top - 14 1/2 x 32
Bottom - 14 1/2 x 32
Sides - 12 1/2 x 14 1/2

It will be about 1.5 cubic feet per chamber, hopefully that will be enough for em to work to their full potential
