you just answered your own question then.
if you don't want rear speakers, go with a 4 channel amp and bridge channels 3 and 4 for the sub.

I'm on a pretty low budget. Are the rear fills really neccesarry? Ideally I'd like to ugprade them but is it worth the extra like $150 to get my rear speakers and get them amplifed?

I plan on running CDTs up front, don't want too much power in my subs. But enought so I can get solid bass for my music.

depends on what your running and what your power needs are and your budget.

5 Channel Amp or 4 Channel

by NViejeP » Sat Feb 25, 2006 12:49 pm

I'm about to get a new system and I'm debating on whether I shoul get a 5 channel amplifer to power all my speakers and a subwoofer or a 4 channel amp to power my front components and a subwoofer.

Thanks in advance.
