One time I bought a 90 dodge ram 318, 4 speed, 4x4, short bed with 60,000 original miles for 500 bucks...The guy had slid it in the ditch and dented the hood, the drivers side fender, and busted the grill... Other than that it was in PREFECT shape.

Then I bought another running parts truck (with title) for 90 bucks. Used all the parts I needed off it and sold it for 100 bucks... 10 bucks ahead on that truck...

So then I take the truck that I just put together and washed through my uncles pond... Long story short, pond was deeper then it looked.. Turns out there was a sunken boat in there that liked to eff up peoples days... After I pulled it out and cleaned it up I sold it for 1,500.. So all in all I made 1,010 dollars in about 2 days...

I have no clue why I'm telling you this... :words

33". took it out tonight on some dirt roads and got the 4x4 engaged to check it all out. ran great. coming back onto campus it sounded like something was banging underneath the truck though...got out to check it out and couldn't find anything. i am taking it in tomorrow anyway to get it all retorqued...so they should find anything that may have come loose if anything did at all.

Truck looks awesome. I just saw an F150 like yours in my town lifted and thought it looked pretty badass.

Im pretty sure my next vehicle is gonna be a super duty lifted on 36" tires.

What size tire is under there now?

Anything is stuckable if you do it right.

yeah the exhaust will be done soon enough...thats another paycheck though. over spring break i am going to make it a project to find a material to stick underneath the engine, just above the skid plates, to keep the mud out. last time i went i wah to clean texas clay mud off the top of my engine and the underside of the hood. i have a little money left from tax returns, but i am going to wait a couple weeks to do anything else. i'll put some pics of my weekend up. i am going to try and get it stuck =).

Yeah, it's amazing how the audio hobby takes an effect upon your vehicle decision :D

I was being nosey and looked at that new Zephyr. Yeah, I know, rebadged Fusion, BUT take a look at it from an acoustical standpoint. Perfectly symmetrical dash, has a speaker in the center on top (with potential for an 8" sub ]

we are on the same wavelength Jonathan...that car is sweet! I have even been checking out kickpanels when I look at cars now for better speaker locations.
