Before you buy the box and/or amp it would be a good idea to check the dimensions on your amp and make sure your amp will fit on that shelf, if you hadn't thought of that :)

general rule is one pound of polyfill per cubic foot of space in the box.
If the box is that small, you can use the rolls of polyfill instead of the loose stuff and just line the box with it, stabpling it into place with a staple gun.

I would advise the Resonant Engineering RE series 10's.

THat box is a bit small for two 10's so I would add poly fill so the box is "gently stuffed".

Amps:

Orion 3002 (150WRMS)
Kicker 350.2 (175WRMS)
JBL BP300.1 (150WRMS)

Im sure there are more but this willg et you started!

welcome to the board, Vegas.
The subs will depend on the box, if you already have the box picked out. Usually people pick the subs first then build the box to match the driver specs, so you'll have to match specs to the box instead.

Hello all, My name is Matt, I live in Vegas. I came to this forum looking for advice. This is not the only forum I am a member of, so I am framilar with forum talk. I am not here for a bashing or someone to trip their ego off on me. I am simply looking for good advice from some differnt views. That being said.
I have a 2004 Silverado SS, with the bose system. So far I have purchased a Pioneer Premier DEH-770MP, and the Sirius unit for it. I would like to also add my IPOD to it. Now I know that there is a unit made to do it, however I am not impressed by its functions. Is there a way to simply use the AUX input and control the IPOD manually? Possibly via RCA inputs? Help me out here fellas?
I want to add some bass. Right now I am looking at box that looks perfect, made by subthump.com here it is http://subthump.com/ctbamp.htm what subs do you suggest, and amp.
I am looking at a limited budget, around 400-500 bucks minus the box. SQ is more my concern, dont listen to anything with too much base mostly rock country alt.rock. I was looking at the audiobahn A8000t (1x800rms @ 2 oms) powering two fosgate P210S4 subs. I was looking on ebay and I found all of this at a good price, I have purchased everything from gun parts to dvd's from ebay and never had a problem. Please give me the best advice possible.

In the near future, I am going to upgrade all the speakers and install a AMP for them.

I am not trying to be cheap but I am simply looking to improve on stock. I want a bit more sound and feel. Please give me all and any advice, Thanks in advance, Matt.
