no its not the wheel bearings or hub cause those cause a growl sound and i had those replaced already about 3 months ago. im almost positive its the body cusions because it doesnt do it when its warm outside. and when its sitting if you push on the body it will do it

I have 00 s-10 blazer. check ur wheel bearings and ur hub assembly. I had to get new wheel bearings on the driver side and a new hub assembly on the passenger side. The noise totally went away.

Also check out this website: http://www.blazinlow.com
They have alot of helpful people on there.

I have the same problem on my Jimmy(same thing as a blazer). It creeks when i turn the wheel all the way to one side when i am like pulling out of my driveway.

no its not something like that its like a creaking when the body moves which is making me belive its the cushions or some type of bushings just dont know which thanks jon ill check them out

by sinister audio » Thu Dec 22, 2005 8:50 am

knowing its a blazer maybe the ball joints on the front end or some bushing.

Probably the support cushions where the body mounts to the frame. You can get the suspension components lubed up to make sure it isn't a control arm or steering link, and if that doesn't help look at the frame mount cushions. You can push down on the front end if you suspect a shock, it should replicate the noise.

ok guys got a question for you know i consider myself farily well inclind with auto systems but i cant tell what this is. as i drive or if i push on the car it creaks like it sounds like the frame is creaking or getting weak. im not sure what else to look at shocks? or body mount bushings?
