you mean for the amp or for the powerline?

i run an 80amp fuse by the battery and then 2 more 80 amp fuses at my distrobution block... is this a problem? Why would having a biggier fuse be a problem?!

What size fuse did the shop want to use?

60a Should be fine.

There really is no reason to use a fuse larger then 60a with that amplifier.

Hey guys,

I have this amp,
LT980/2 Power Acoustik 2 Channel LT Series Car Amplifier (980 Watts)
http://shop.store.yahoo.com/csexpo/ltpowac2chan1.html

and one place that iwas going to have install, said they wanted to use a bigger fuse but none of the other places said they would. Now i was wondering, im going to have a 4 gauge wire, and would a AGU Fuse Holder with 60A AGU Fuse be okay to use? or would i need bigger?
