In my opinion, a 300/2 would be perfect for the Koda's. Mount the the mids on a solid baffle, seal up the doors, and set the high pass on the amp at 60-70 hz. Should sound super sweet.

I think I'm gonna go with the Adire Koda's. Would a JL 300/2 give them enuff juice? Or do you recommend something else?

MA is not the same as Memphis. Memphis makes a very nice product.

Memphis is good as far as I have heard. As for personal experience with them I have none.

I can bulk order MA from a catalog I have....

I thought they were good quality? (about Kicker's quality) nevermind then.

Memphis is very nice? :shutters:

Just make sure you have a very nice amp to power such speakers! Go for at least Memphis or Zapco.

I've heard the UP5's and they are very nice speakers. I'd rank them somewhat close to the Koda's in terms of sound quality, but I don't have enough listening time with either sets to give a clear opinion on which I like better. Now, if you stepped up to say the Ultimate Iridium line of speakers from DLS, they absolutely blow the Koda's away. You are also paying a lot more money compared to the Koda's, so it's not a fair comparison.

I've actually considered dropping my Dyn's and moving to the Iridium's a couple of times though. Very sweet speakers.

If you are putting down some cash, take a look into Dyn-Audio and Rainbow, too. Costly, but great.
