i had 1100 on the 15 and i think it was laughing at me and calling me a puss for not giving it more power. im getting a 12" here pretty soon that i might just keep in my car with 1100 watts going to it for right now.

Honestly, I wouldn't go by just the specs. People are going by xmax too much. Watch an Execution move, there is no way it's only moving 20 mm. The excursion on it is far more then a XXX, which says is 32mm. I can't say how it would do versus an MT, since I've never heard an MT, but I can guarentee it would at least give it a run for it's money. The Execution is an amazing subwoofer.

as for power, they are 1200w RMS, but i guarentee they could easily handle upwards of 1600-1800 without a problem.

i know i know. :) .

but how would the exec do vs a MT.. myguess is that the exec has the upperhand, just judging by its price. :) could be wrong though. I'm pretty sure a MT 18 in a fartbox stands some chance... :)

yeah i think justin was just comparing the XXX vs. exec. for richard in terms of spl and sq, he wasnt stating that that they are comparable subwoofers as if they are both SPL subs or something.

whoaa thats awesome lol, hmmm im lookin to upgrade sometime, the site says 1000+ watts, how much more watts would you give them?

by Justin from Detroit1 » Thu Oct 06, 2005 5:59 pm

HAHA as far as SPL goes, the Execution simply BLOWS the XXX's out of the water, it's no competition. My friend has a pair of 12" XXX's, and my one 15" Execution was a lot louder then them. Sound quality isn't quite as goos, but isn't poor by any means. Overall, the Execution is a FAR better subwoofer.

Niice, how would you rate it sq/spl wise to the RE XXX. I'm just wonderin cuz i've never heard any of the elevation audio subs and i have a XXX.

by Justin from Detroit1 » Thu Oct 06, 2005 5:01 pm

Actually a lot better then what I expected from a SQ subwoofer. Not as good as the Pro, but excellent for an SPL driver.
