I finally got around to building a ported sub box for the sub. The specs on the box are 2.5 cubes ported to 30hz. if you guys remember the sub can handle 3000 watts rms but my electrical system in my mustang cant and also i dont have an amp on hand that will kick out 3000 watts. so i wired it to 4ohms and through it on an Elevation audio xs200.2 bridged which is suppose to be 700 watts but i think its closer to 725-740. so to try this i just threw it in my back seat because i didnt want to take out my custom box. well i spent about an hour tuning the amp and deck and letting the sub break in even though i doubt it would hardly need to be broken in when its only getting 700 ish watts. i popped in some nine inch nails and all i have to say is GOD DAMN. first of all i had to keep myu mouth open cause if it was shut my teeth would rattle and it would hurt. next my chest started to hurt just like it did when i was at a qurashi concert ( if anyone has ever been to one they have extremly large mount of bass). well i am extremly impressed with this sub. its got some wheight so if you have an import car you might not want this sub it probaly wheighs more than your cars head. also this thing kits extremly hard i have never had a sub kick that hard and ive had some pretty decent subs before. if you ever get to audition this sub in a car in a proper box and power going to it please do you wont be sorry well you might when your chest and ears are hurting a half hour later but of course its worth it. retail price on the sub is just under 650 and if you got the power for this power hungry beast and a good back i say buy one of these they are fricken awsome.
