Peripheral makes an adapter that will take care of your Factory Radio problem, otherwise stinger makes what is called a SALOC, witch is a LOC or "Line Out Convertor". If it is a Bose system Soundgate make some real nice stuff to intagrate with factory systems with premium audio ..........

Check into the JL Audio CleanSweep.

This is a NEW item that will integrate with your factory radio and still let you attain high levels of sound quality.

Theres no doubt in my mind its possible. Nobody is saying it will be easy or cheap though.

id reccomend getting an aftermarket deck too

If the grand am is anything like a camaro/trans am you can hook up a OEM-1 made by PAC to your stock hu. The OEM-1/2 by PAC gives you rca's and a remote turn on.

i'd doubt it... you'd need an amp, box, and all the wires at best.. depends if it has RCA preouts.

You'd probably be better off getting an aftermarket deck though.
