I'm pretty positive it won't like above 18 volts like most amps. 16 should be okay, the worst it should do is go into protection right?

i dont know if it is or not i dont have very much info on it and it dosnt tell. i guess ill give it a try.

Is it a regulated power supply or not?

If its not you should be able to. Only 2 volts over normal operating voltage. A lot of competitors with unregulated amps do this to boost RMS far above the ratings at 12V...

I'd call Elevation and ask them what the max input voltage is. That should tell ya.
