Hi There,
Welcome to the forum.

The first place I would start is to check all the wiring, make sure everything is connected tight.

When the sub stops working, does your amp go into protection mode at all?
What is the sub model, an the amp model #?

So i installed a 12' amp and sub on a 2017 tacoma. Everything is wired fine and works great, most of the time. Some times as i'm driving the sub will stop working. the amp is still on, the blue power light is on, music still coming out everywhere else just the sub stops. eventually the sub will come back but never on consistent times. I thought maybe there wasn't enough power in the battery but that wasn't the case. any idea? thanks
