Pioneer AVH-P5700 dvd sound problems

by cterie » Mon Apr 11, 2011 4:52 pm

I hooked up my Pioneer AVH-P5700 (Red wire to red wire, Yellow to battery, Black to ground, Antenna and the two wire harnesses. ) Everything works and the dvd player even shows video but I dont get any sound unless I plug the amp turn on wire (blue with white line) up to the Blue remote system contorl wire on the dvd player. Is this correct? I thought the blue wire from the dvd player was supposed to hook up to the remote wire for an amp.

I'm hooking this up to a stock 2000 mustang gt withoug the bose system.
