I got Massive CK's, Cadence ZRS's...

I had an insane deal on the Cadence's a bit back. Wednesday I should get another weekly flier/deal. I will let you know if there is anything of interest in it.

No kidding?? Any links so I can see how he has everything setup?

Ryan, I want a set of components. However, right now, I'm at a loss for figuring out where I would mount the tweeters. Then going with a small amplifier for the components would be feasible.

DITCH THEM

Seriously. Speakers right next to your ear is horrible for SQ. No imaging, nadda. It would put the sound stage right behind you with no way to change it.

Not to mention nasty tweeter harshness in your ear.

I would run a comp set. Put the 5.25" in the doors and find a home for the tweeter.

I may be able to get you a sweet deal on a set of Cadence comps.

This is what I do :)

PM me for pricing if you want any of it. ;)

Only behind the drivers seat would there be enough space to mount an amplifier, as my legs are short enough that I have to have my seat moved forward. There is no space behind the passenger seat. And definitely no space under the seats.

That plate subwoofer looks pretty nice, that might fit, but only where the floor meets the wall behind the drivers seat. And that slim amplifier looks like it would fit too!

Take a look at this stuff Chris. I think its right up your alley.

Just some ideas. This stuff is all fairly reasonable and through me. Im not sure how tight the space is behind the seat, but Ive been wanting to get the Cadence mini thing out to someone. Or even the slim line sub, they look good.

The Massive Nano amps are pretty damned small. The picture is deceiving. I handled the 4 channel, it was indeed small. I wouldnt call it "nano" but it is much smaller than any other 4 channel with its power rating Ive ever seen!

6.5's components in the doors, 8" sub (sealed) behind passenger seat, 4 channel behind drivers seat.

Yeah, I already know this, Sound Quality, and any type of resonance that you would normally get is thrown out the window (or well, out of the cabin in general haha). Truthfully, I'm not looking for amazing sound quality. I'm just wanting to be able to hear my music well, and actually get some sort of bass (right now, there is nothing below 5k-7k hz).

Here's the problem-

Door fits a 5.25", depth doesn't seem to be too awful much of an issue. No stock tweeter location, and I would like not to make the interior look cluttered with speakers (or make humongous door pods).

Factory speakers are also located in the headrests (Here's a picture of the previous owners replacement speakers, stock has two 2.5" speakers http://s10.photobucket.com/albums/a109/ ... G_5062.jpg)

Subwoofer would be useless in the trunk. That, and the trunk is too small for me to want to use it for any type of stereo setup.

See above for amplifier. Hardly no space for one, unless it is very very small, and again, not sure where I would mount the thing (maybe behind the drivers seat?).

I do not want to dump a ton of money into the stereo system, as it is not the main focus of this vehicle. I will probably make some mdf rings with small small pods for the front doors, but nothing that sticks out more than 2" than what is currently there.

Thanks.
