Yeah, I respect most everyone's opinions too because most of the time you can really tell when someone knows their stuff. And had he been half decent about it I would've most likely given his opinion more thought. Like, "hmmm... I can see what he means. I can emagine the flaws of a flat cone." But he came across like a troll that wanted to just prick everyone around.

I don't know Rusty at all and haven't even emailed him about a question or anything. But I get a real sense that he's a genuine guy that would never unload crap on his customers. So when the guy acted and posted comments as if Rusty should run everything by him first for his approval, otherwise us "minions" might buy a bad product and he just can't let that happen, (he actually wrote something like that.) just got under my skin.

I guess I should just grow a pair though and ignore it. Seeing as how the mods over there are fine with his comments. Guess everyone else needs to be.

He was assuming we all just followed DC Audio like we were eating shit with a smile on our face. Like we would run DC even if it was garbage. I read the DC portion of SMD enough to know that there aren't many if any "nuthuggers" that "blindly" follow DC Audio. Most of us just post stuff to either be funny or entertain each other.
The guy has a right to an opinion, yes. But he sure let us know right off the bat that our opinions are worthless to him as his "nuthugging meter" was going off.
I usually never join in on that stuff but he included me in his insults.
You got to understand there are tons of people who do exactly that will buy his shit no matter what he says.

People are always going to have an issue. Your either a hater or on the bandwagon, etc.

There is a difference between nuthugging and enjoining equipment. Nuthugging is thinking the world of stuff and claiming its the best shit in the universe no matter what. What were the insults? His posts have been edited and the post I'd made which quoted all of his insults has been removed.

But yeah, I guess I'm a nuthugger if nuthugging consists of enjoying DC subs and posting about it.

Seems like he enjoys doing the same thing with the equiptment he runs.

I never considered it nuthugging.

ehh id have to disagree, He posted an opinion contrary to what nuthuggers like. Then the nuthuggers jumped on him for having a opinion unlike the populous even though he's right for the most part. I guess i missed where he was insulting people. If he was then i stand corrected.
