As for the kitten, when it nurses like that, it's generally from being weened too early, causing an oral fixaxiot. I have two that still do that after over a year.
Anyway, you may want to find a small plastic pet nursing bottle, and get some "cat sip" from walmart or similar to feed the kitten till it is weened and ready for dry food.

Thanks for the info, the kitten was weaned before the dog died. She has been eating dry food for probably a month and a half.

The dog had been abused, and the cat was just a kitten, i dont even think it had been weaned, cause she would try to nurse on the dog. (the dog was a female BTW). I dont know if she got anything or not, but she woud try anyway.

That's sad. At least she knew what it was to be loved. And though she died, she was happy even if it was a short while.

Taker easy bud. Be happy you gave her peace.

Well guyz, about two months ago somebody dropped of a kitten and a dog in our yard. Well we take them in and keep them. The dog had been abused, and the cat was just a kitten, i dont even think it had been weaned, cause she would try to nurse on the dog. (the dog was a female BTW). I dont know if she got anything or not, but she woud try anyway.

about two weeks ago the dog disappeared, i thought she was just out runnin and would be home soon. She never came back, so I thought somebody picked he up or she took up somewhere else, no real big deal, kinda bummed for Garrett, because they really liked each other.

Well this evening I was putting some stuff in my building, and saw a black lump in the yard, by some trees. I had my wifes little brother with me, and the closer we got the more my heart sank. She had evidently been hit, and made it up to spot where she died. this is breaking my heart to tell this, I gave her a proper burial, my wife is heart broken, so am I. Garrett doesnt know and he doesnt need to.

Her name was Mini, she was a mini doberman. For the last two weeks we wanted her to come home, and the whole time she was.

Im sorry for dumping this on you guys, but I had to talk about it.

thanks,

Tim
