done and it still didn't work...i even reset the computer in my truck and still nothing but protect mode...im so clueless guys

Yea, do as said above, but go ahead and reconnect everything as if you were hooking it up for the first time. Never assume you've got it right. Stuff likes to move around in cars...

Try checking the power and ground. Unplug the rca's and undo the speaker wire and report back....

my amp has been in protect for four days now and i cant live without hearing it any longer and i cant figure out what is wrong with it. its a jbl gto601.1 ii and there dosen't seem to be any problem electricaly that i can see and i have done everything i can think of but nothing works........i need help from someone please
