I really miss my first ever set of speakers. they were Jensen 6x9 3 ways. I got two boxes from crutchfield for 40 bucks and the jensens were 70. I put them in the back seat of my 84 olds. runnin off the factory tape deck.....sigh those were the days.

Really thought I was somthing.

thats the pic you used as your avatar for awhile. How did those subs sound??
Great!! They were the eclipse titaniums. They were made by TC sounds and just branded by eclipse. I would rank em on the same level as the dub7, RE XXX(older models). I was able to do a 140db on a tl(with one 15"). So they did get loud.

nothing but bass and treble but thats the way i like it.
I remember those days......Sounds coming from my truck; BASS BASS BASS, creaky treble, creaky treble, BASS BASS.

kenwood kdc-63r

made about 1990 or so, it was my absolute favorite head unit ive ever had, very basic but rock solid, nothing but bass and treble but thats the way i like it.
