I'm guessing the subs are rated for 500 rms? If that's the case then just run 1kw to the pair and you'll be set. With that being said, 1kw could take a toll on your electrical system if it's not already upgraded. So, if you're not willing to put money into that than I would suggest running a nice sized ported enclosure with around 700-800w rms to the pair and see how that does. Should give you plenty of output from those HX2's. Another option would be running a single HX2 in a well designed ported box sending it rated power. Could get plently loud.

I have 2 12" Rockford Fosgate HX2's, each with 1000 watts max power, dual 2 ohms and 3.0 voice coil. I'm looking for an amp that will mach the watts as best as possible and wont burn up. I dont want to spend to much money, maybe $300 at the most. If anyone has any suggestions let me know, cause I have subs but no amp and it's kinda pointless. Thanks in advance. :thumbsup
