I run 3d Mark on it, had to run 2001 though. The newest will not load with a under a 2.4 GHz processor.

The netbook scored about 2,970

My desktop scored over 30,000

We have about 27 different unsecured networks to chose from in our apartment. My sister uses her phone's internet via blue tooth :D (she got a really good plan through sprint, like a 1,000 minutes, free sprint to spring, unlimited internet and text for like 35 bucks a month.

I have cable internet.

I will give it a shot.

I upgraded the memory from a 512 stick to a 1 GB. So its total of 1.5 GB now.

Im really surprised how fast it is! I was able to pull a wireless signal inside my apartment! It was running 2MB down and 1MB up. Faster than my DSL!!! By almost 3x's!

Installign the memory was a real F'ing treat...

Wow, not even 24 Hrs later and I got my new toy.

Im fairly impressed with the performance loading various programs so far. The builtin webcam has a nice crisp 1.2 MP picture.

Mine arrived without a mark on it. looks absolute flawless/new.

I struggled with this purchase a bit...

I ended up buying the white Acer Aspire One off tigerdirect for $240. I also bought the upgraded memory so I will have a total of 1.5 GB instead of just 1GB, was $15. Total was $272ish shipped.

On E Bay by Geeksales, they had the slightly better Acer Aspire One. It had a 160 GB HDD anda 6 Cell battery, for 5.5 Hours life. But it was $290... and$12 ship... And I might not of had it in time...

The upside is I can return my unit to tiger for store credit within 30 days if Im not satisfied...

These would work with a TL also.

I just got my pay check/stubs in the mail. Forgot this was a long check so I got some extra monies :)
