I was trying to show you a little of the light at the end of the tunnel, if you will.
That said, I think you would do well with some programming training. Maybe get some certifications in an area that you like. If there is one place a person with a handicap can make it, it is in IT. Have you seen those guys? :D
Seriously though, you are young. I know you have some hardships that are going to make you have to work a little harder than most, but there have been many people before you that did not give up. They have had hardships as well and they fought through and made something of themselves. You can too, if you choose to.
I do wish you all the luck in the world. I do feel terrible that you have the hardships that you do. I would not wish them on anyone. But, do not let your hardships defeat you. Be who you want to be in spite of them. Only then will you see the life that you desire. You will never find that life in a pill.

Im not, but im also not concerned about the views of the majority.

Update on my health, ive had night terrors 3 out of the last 6 days, today I had a wonderful dream though thank god.

Ive been very sick in the stomach just not wanting to get out of bed. Been off the pain pills for 3 days just to see if it was them, its not. I only have 2 left anyway. Been head to toe in hives everyday.

I really wanna stop taking these antibiotics, im giving them 2 more weeks, if i dont see improvement im stopping em.

I talked my mom into trying one last thing, from the institute of alternative health. Its an oxygen cleanse and flush. Over 7 weeks of taking the product it raises the oxygen level in your body to over 90% killing any candida albicans and bad bacteria. So if these antibiotics dont work im hoping this does, if not i dunno what im gonna do.

sounds like you need a shrink if the doctors wont sign your papers try a different route
i think you could get on mental disability faster than physical if you really want to get on disability. being on disability is something ive never wanted but could actually be on

ive broken my back and nearly every bone in my body have arthritis osteoporosis and lots of nerve damage im not on disability i tend to work 16+ hour days in extreme conditions on oil rigs powerplants inside of mountains out on the ocean etc. my problem is that when i get physicals for a company i actually have to talk the doctors out of saying i have a disability or saying i cant do something because of a physical ailment. im in almost constant pain and have grown very accustomed to it and i dont take pills id rather be able to feel it and know exactly whats going on in my body ive gone to work with my hand broke, kneecap cracked, puncture wounds in my foot, broken fingers, bad lacerations with fresh stitches etc. the only time i wont go to work is when i have the flu or im really really hung over which isnt often.

the college idea sounds like a good one to me im sure you could got to an school with a good information technologies program sees like thats what youre into anyways

if you really cant work it sounds like you should get on it youre gonna have a hard time convincing anyone that you cant do any kind of work
the only time i really couldnt work at all was when i broke my back i was stuck in a bed for months that was the worst time ever i couldnt do much of anything and was extremely depressed because of that

150 dollars for some percs is a really lame reason to get thrown in jail if i were gonna be a drug dealer i wouldnt risk it for 150 bucks if your moms friend needs those pills maybe she should see a pain specialist or she might just be what my doctor friend calls a "seeker"

those people you know that are able to work but on disability what are the on disability for is it physical or mental or are they just scammers

I just dont want people thinking oh hes bad or evil because hes willing to do some less tasteful things to support himself or his family while trying to get better. 9 chances out of 10 i wont get a prescription for pain pills. If you care ill keep you updated on my health and case status here if u guys want.

Just because things dont seem to be working out for you doesnt mean there not, sometimes you have to take a step back and look at the whole picture to figure things out..
Some people consult in god or religion, some people consult with a friend or a therapist, some people just need to figure things out for their self.
I still think college may be the answer. I plan on going to college in the fall, a little late in life (I'll be 26 by then), but it's better late then never I surpose.

You're basically scamming the goverment and tax payers by selling off the meds. Somebody has to pay for them, and why? So you can sell them to protential junkies just to make a quick buck? Hate to say it dude, but thats just as bad, if not worse."
No problem with ripping off the government, as far as tax payers me selling a few scripts wouldnt cause atax hike but it may provide me with enough income to help my recovery
How do you know what I've been though? You dont! You posted for advice, I gave you mine. If you dont like it, ignore my post and continue being a drug dealer. But when you end up in prision (and most dealers do) don't complain that nobody tried to help... "
I never said I knew what youve been through, i know the risks and like i said i did this once, i dont blame anyone for the choices i make.
Maybe you should get off the pills, or atleast take them as prescribed? Like I said, check the with the SS office and they should be able to hook you up. If not, pm me and I will help you.
Not really abusing them, taking 5mg over the recommended dose is nothing.

I dont understand why you guys are getting so mad about this stuff its not like im deliberately trying to offend you or im attacking you, i appreciate the helpful stuff posted as well.
I think you would of gotten much better responses if you didnt start talking about sell your prescriptions...
Eh i do to but, just frustrated, thats life i guess huh... i guess im weird i dont blame people for robbing people if they are left with no choice, i also wouldnt blame someone for killing me if i robbed them.

And please dont think we're trying to gang up on you (atleast I'm not), we're just trying to steer you away from making bad decisions.

If you notice my first post in this thread I was trying to be helpful and not judgemental, but once you started talking about selling pills the game plan changed.

Go here: http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/ and fill out the student loan papers.

Call up the social security office or vocational rehabilitation services and see if they can help you find a job that you're able to do with youre disability.

They might be able to help you find a job that you are able to do and even like, its worth a shot. They might even be able to help with you disability case?? Call, its worth a try..

I think you would of gotten much better responses if you didnt start talking about sell your prescriptions...

Sorry, militia member not terrorist.

http://www.news-leader.com/assets/pdf/DO131242323.PDF

I have 1. a christian identity
2. feel im a sovereign citizen
3. anti immigration
4. I support ron paul
5. have seen, zeitgeist, end game, loose change final cut, obama deception and other videos.

By these 5 criteria alone i would be classfied to police as someone who would be a militia member.

Yes you should pay to help people go through rehab, wouldnt you want someone to do the same, if your making 100k a year and living comfortably you should going out helping other people you know by giving them money or helping them with bills if its not placing yourself in a comprimised position, will this ever happen no because the media has taught us to hate each other, only care about our wealth, and have no compassion.

As for the cost of pills we could just as easily say the drug companies are to blame more than say I would be, because they are making 200,000% profit on certain drugs..... is that right no? Its not right that our air is being polluted by chemtrails or our water with flouride compounds, are food being genetically modified. Maybe i wouldnt be in this position if i wasnt given so many antibiotics when i was younger by all the doctors, we could blame then too for people having to pay extra taxes for health care.

We could play the blame game all day, in the end its a matter of opinion, and morality and ideals.

BTW your acting like im making shit tons of cash off of selling pills, i did it once, made 25 bucks that i spent of a doctors visit.

Only skills i currently have are PC repair and trouble shooting which i cant do over the phone due to memory problems and the like. I know a little bit about cars also. Have done minor database work running an EQ emulator server and minor website work. Nothing anyone would pay me for.

To mobile, if the law was I had to drug test to get my disability i would most definilty quit, because its not hard like everyone makes it out to be, hell i will have quit in a few days if i dont get a new script which isnt a big deal

Mithrandir wrote:lol u mad?

Its easier said than done... starting a home business especially with no marketable skills, your talking to a 23 year old who has held 2 jobs both in garages and has know business knowledge, believe me ive tried, im not here to convience you of my disability. I will continue fighting for what I feel i deserve, if i paid into the system when i was working it should help support me when im unable to work. As for the pill issue, i take pills socially, i know several people who do also for much longer periods than I have. They arent in jail.

You paid into the system for what, a few years at minimum pay? How much total did you contribute to society? A few thousand bucks?
Mithrandir wrote:
There is a huge social stigma when it comes to doing any mild altering substance which is why the hundreds of thousands of people who do smoke pot weekly, pop pills on occasion, take amphetameans, or exstacy, shrooms or acid whatever drug you wanna pick on do it in private.

Wow, not sure how to say this, but drugs in general ruin lives. Sure there are few people who have used in moderation, but the grand majority of users will eventually slide deep into addiction. If you want to think otherwise, I will not persuade you.
Mithrandir wrote: To the person on the last page the pills deal is pretty much a moral issue. Honestly i truely believe people should be allowed to grow their own pot, their own poppies and make opiates if they want or ingest whatever they choose, and its no ones business to save someone from their self. If we were to do that we would need to outlaw fast food and sugary foods as well. Outlaw smokes and alcohol, because alcohol withdrawl is far more deadly and hard to manage than opiate with drawl. Yes ive spoken with EMTs on the subject, infact we had a big discussion on another board im on relating to the War on drugs, why its ment to fail and imprison good people.

I am not so against the pot issue, not that I personally have ever smoked, but it is far less harmless than tobacco. Hell I think there are plenty of people I know that would be better off getting high once in a while to chill them out.

Now I would not take the word of an EMT as gospel. They are just a little more trained than your average firefighter. They don't even have the education requirements of an RN, let alone a doctor or pharmacist.
Mithrandir wrote: The people you knew who ended up in jail knew the risks, and if it wasnt for a big nanny government telling them what was right for them, they would still have jobs and be living their lives, they would either keep taking pills every now and then or they would get addicted and either die or choose to quit. Which is there choice and no one has the right to take that from them.

Um, no they didn't get busted for drugs, they got busted for stealing people's shit and turning tricks for dope. You cannot find a way to blame that on drug legislation. That is 100% the fault of their addictions. Nice try.
Mithrandir wrote: As for the lady getting her own script, doctors cant feel your pain so they have to judge who needs the pills and who is just looking for a high so they can err either way giving it to someone who doesnt need it or not giving them to someone who does. I dont feel pitty for people who scam disability either, if your healthy enough to work then so be it, but if your not and you paid into the system the system should take care of you until your are healthy enough to work again.

If the lady has the pain you say she has, then the DR would see that and offer her a valid script. But since she is self medication off the street, I would bet she more likely has an addiction to feed, not legit pain.
Mithrandir wrote:
Then again im an idealist i guess, hell id be classified as a terrorist according to recently a released memo to a police department in missouri i think it was, ya know speaking about the constitution, freedoms and rights, thats bad.

Now im rambling so im going to cut off my post here.

OK, now you sound like a wacko here. Why would you be considered a terrorist? I will bite.
Mithrandir wrote:
Edit: BTW if you could help me find a way to make money from home I would be extremely greatful, all i can really do is sit on the PC most of the time if im not laying down or sick from the amount of antihistamines or whatever other drugs i have to take to keep shit bareable for myself.

No im not against working but for me to be able to get gainful sustainable employment outside of my house would be impossible at this point.

What skills DO you have? No, selling your scripts does not count.
Mithrandir wrote: Since you got into the business of YOU the tax payer, i would like to state i also paid taxes, i paid taxes for all the healthy people who dont want to work ect.. from my point of view if I were healthy paying taxes and someone sick came up to me and asked do you mind that i sell pain pills i get for nearly free to make some what of an income so i can support my continued treatment and help my single parent out who has gotten into debt helping me get treatment, what kind of a person would I be to say no, i dont care how sick you are get a job....

How much have you paid in taxes in your lifetime? A few thousand? You are only 23 years old. You have only been of age to work for what, 7-8 years? How much have you earned in that short time?
Mithrandir wrote: I could never do that and sleep at night but i guess thats where value systems differ, i value people, their health, their freedom to choose. I also know you have no way of knowing what ive been going through so i dont blame you for feeling the way you do about me and my situation but that as far as it goes.

Where are your values in terms of helping people with addictions? Do you feel it is your responsibility to pay for the addictions of others? What about a really fat person who has heart problems from eating to much and not working out enough? Should they sit on their fat ass and live off my hard work? What if their addiction was meth? Should I pay to help them through addiction rehab? Should I have to pay higher retail prices to compensate for the theft loss incurred by the stores they steal from?
Mithrandir wrote: And also in regards to people in prison for drug abuse whom many of which could be contributing members of society if it wasnt for moronic laws. You are paying taxes to keep them in prison and i think it roughly comes out to 50k a year is the average cost of keeping someone in prison, just a little thing to think about

Look, you can try to make them the victims all you want, but they went to jail because of their addictions, not because a law said it was wrong to abuse illicit drugs. They stole stuff or turned tricks to get a fix. That is what landed them in jail. I would rather house them in jail then pay for their added cost to society while free. At least while they are jailed I don't have to worry about them stealing my stuff or killing me over a $5 score.
