Once Excessive starts getting them in stock Nate will be giving people the option to buy the pulleys seperately to get the most out of their older high output alternators :thumbsup

Any aluminum will oxidize if not coated or regularly cleaned but the T6061 will not do it as fast.
Ryan from Ohio wrote:You can black oxide them or hard coat anodize them. I would do the hard coat anodizing. Not only will it color the aluminum, but it will make it fairly hard for the first .010" of material.
These are not coated with anything because Nate wanted the ability to powdercoat them to color match the alts when someone orders a custom color... We may make it an option of coating for other distributors or suppliers when I start dealing with them.

Hey Joe, if you get one of Nates new alts (once he gets all the pulleys in) you'll already get one of our pulleys :)

And of coarse I can get clutches... I'll throw some options at ya in the morning :D

Well buddy...shoot me a pm with a price...I am definately interested. Also will ask Nate about a 250-300amp Alt for the mustang 4v.

Also on a different subject michael, can you get clutches for the mustang?

Yeah Nate's tickled pink... Which I suppose is appropriate since it's Pink Friday :p lol

Thought everybody might get a kick outta seeing our first 2 completed designs for the new alternator overdrive pulleys that I am going to be marketing. These are all T6061 Aircraft grade aluminum (aka billet) and will be far less strain on the bearings for longer life.
The V-belt is our pride and joy because as far as we know it is the smallest universal V-belt that will be available on the market. Stock alternator V-belts are between 4.5-5" in diameter, standard overdrives are 2.6-2.8", and ours is 2.087" (it's as small as we could see to go and keep the structural integrity of the pulley) and weighs only 2.5oz. (approx.).
The other pictured with the V-belt is our new 8-groove serpentine overdrive pulley with the 6 grooves to be produced next week.
Excessive Amperage Alternators will be the first to have these newly designed overdrive pulleys for an even better charge at idle... Soon I should have some nice side by side pics of the old pulleys (currently used) next to the our newer style. :happy055:
