BULLSHIT!!!
Robbie your full of shit lol.

You just got a job because your parents kept your money lol :-P
Pay your credit card ya bum (inside story).

Nah people like Robbie aren't dependant on it, he'll get ssi for a bit to help out but once things recover for him I'm sure he'll get off of it or I'll drive down there and make ya foo ..or at least split it with me :)

I litterally had to quit reading this thread because I almost got mad and broke my computer, it'd been alright tho I woulda just asked the goverment to give me a new one.

I have absolutley no problem with that, that is what I pay taxes for and all the other stuff that comes outta my check. I am glad he is getting the help. But how many people just live off this help, and not make any effort at all to work.

I can tell you that for two out of these three women made something better of themselves by being on govt assistance.
My wife had a tough go of things when she lost her Govt contract job and couldn't make ends meet with the money she was getting in from a lower paying job to feed my son. (mind you, I was not married to her, and her son is not my biological son)
This was about 16 years ago...and without their help, she wouldn't have been able to bring my boy up as fabulously as she had at that time.
My sis-in-law Kat (wife's little sister, youngest of three) was on assisted living and had quite a nice little home, and she is an at home mom, while her husband is working for a pawnshop, and they have nice things, but the Pawnshop doesn't pay a whole lot. They needed govt assistance and the only children they have is one jointly between them, one her husband has from a previous marriage, and one that Kat has from a previous relationship.
All three are very well mannered and they are growing up doing the best that they can. When the baby gets old enough to go to daycare, then Kat will get a job and help support the family.
My wife's middle sister is divorced three years now, and for two of those years, she a) lost her home, b) lost her dignity, c) lost her self confidence, and d) gained government help. She is in school and doing well, but, she doesn't have any desire to get a job even if it were part time. She has issues with the kids child support, and to date, the kids don't have much to show of it.
On many times my wife and I would pay for clothing for the kids and help out with food. I once even gave her money, and found out later she gambled it away trying to hit that "big spin".
I have washed my hands of her, but I still love her and wish that she would get some gumption. It would be that she still needs to finish her schooling and if she gets out and gets a job with that...then I think that this "living on the govt cheese" is well worth it. Only time will tell.

The goverment programs are good for people who need them.... Sounds like 2 of the 3 people needed it...

My brother then proceeds to pull a gun on the dude,( mind you the dude and my brother are really pretty good friends).
The police get called, and they arrest my brother, for Agg. Assault, recklessly endangering another person, and modifying a weapon.
The police come back and search his apartment and find all kinds of stuff.
most of the charges have been dropped but they still have like 3 or 4 months to prosecute.
I don't know how it will turn out for him.

My half brother just got out of jail, he was part of the counties (and maybe states) largest meth bust.... Idiot!
