Thats the way the system works.

so the lady you mentioned has $1000 a month in food stamps.

I know a family with 1 child still young enough to live at home. The mother is laid up from back injury and back surgery and can't work. Gets no disability, and workman's comp stop paying her and is trying to "take back" paying for the surgery. The father's wages are being garnished to cover all the medical expenses, so they are basically down to 1 minimum wage take home pay. They have a house payment and no car payments.

They tried to get foodstamps and qualified for $7.00 a week. Which is less than the cost of gas to drive to the place to get the foodstamps.

I guess my point is, what a messed up system.

Haha, thats funny.

I use to work at a contracting company for charter, some of the other guys were telling me about a previous employee, he got tired and went and took a nap on the peoples couch... He got fired!

My wife works at Aldi's a discount grocery store
A lady came in with a foodstamp credit card that had 1,000+ dollars on it for ONE MONTH!
No shit, I was like are you freakin serious, she purchased 400+ dollars of groceries for a church or something but still 1,000+ dollars worth of food stamps...
shit wish I could get that

Yea I agree with you 100% I really like the people who give away free stuff and then ppl come to pick it up and try to grab other free shit from their garage's n stuff.

Like not that they are trying to steal they just assume the entire garage is free.
I'd like to go to someones house one day and just walk in sit on the couch and be like "ah this is the life, I'm gonna take it!". After that just stay in the house for as long as you can before they call the cops, you wonder how far people will go to avoid confrontation.

Have you read some of the stuff people write on craigslist?

My favorite are the moms who have 6 kids and expecting another, and they post that they're needing a van, has to be a 2000 or newer, and must be in good/great shape... and they need it to be free..

WTF? How can you post something like that? If you need help, fine I guess, but posting it needs to be a certain year or newer, has to perfect shape, and must be free...

COME ON!!!!

This is where the goverment needs to step in and say, "hey, if you want our help you have to get your tubes tied."

You would think it'd be just easier to run and get a small bottle of cheap vodka take like 3-4 shots and relax. WTF is wrong with people.

No clue.

It's funny, right? Makes you want to laugh? Yeah, till it happens to you!

I knew a guy who was an alcoholic, drink himself to death, using listerine! His heart exploded, they found him dead in the bath tub.

True story, it was my uncles fiancée ex husband.
