We once had an '88 SS. Man that car was fun. Black with the thin red strip down the side of the car.

sounds simple enough, now I just need to get the time to do it.

Thanks guys,

Tim

I miss my 95 Z34.

Take the rear seat out, pretty easy. The seat portion come sout first. Either pull taps or things you push a screwdriver in. Then theres like 3 nuts olding the seat back on, lift up and out.

Take one side trim out and be careful or remove both sides. Comes out fairly easy.

start by taking out the back seat, then the side trim around the back window and then just look under the rear deck in the trunk for little plastic clips and stuff....

Well the 95 and my 99 are the same body style and the rear deck is one of those GM overkill things. You have to remove the pillar covers on the back, some of it unscrews from inside and some of it from the trunk.

Hey gang, my mother-in-law got a sweet deal on a 95 monte carlo. It sat out in the sun for a couple years and the rear deck carpet is in pretty bad shape. I was wondering if any of us know how to remove the rear deck. I am gonna recarpet it for her and some info would be great.

Thanks
Tim
