And the people in the middle of the store right behind you on them that say something like "Excuse Me!" while my wife and I are talking... Of coarse I always turn and look at them with a look like WTF? and they point at their ear.

I don't talk alot on my cell phone, but I do text a bit and like it cause I can take my time to answer back...like email to me. However I still pay for a monthly contract cause my wife uses hers a tad bit more then me.

I need a bluetooth headset but yeah I do think its stupid to walk around everywhere with that thing in your ear...crazy!

by cargodz » Mon Apr 14, 2008 3:49 pm

Well I'm glad to hear you got it worked out for now at least.

by William from NOLA » Mon Apr 14, 2008 3:36 pm

Thank you, come again!

by Ryan from Ohio » Mon Apr 14, 2008 2:50 pm

agreed and it may be worth the hassle for money.

So may use it just to talk, for no reason.

I dont like Cell phones as its just another means to be harassed by my ex and my Grandmother. :help:

On a side note I had it out with Virgin Mobile tonight. I reported them to the BBB for starters after I received this reply via email:
Hi Ryan,

Thanks for your email -- and for giving us the opportunity to answer your question. We're here to help.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused. I have reviewed your account and see that you signed up for the 20 cents/minute Plan.

All calls are 20¢ per minute all the time. Days, nights, weekends, whenever - it's always a simple flat 20¢ per minute rate. As long as you have a cash balance, you'll be talking at 20¢ per minute.

Here's just a little bit more about our $ 6.99 TALK.

You'll get 10 cent minutes all the time, every day, all day and night long for only $6.99 a month plus applicable taxes and surcharges.

I would kindly request you to change your plan right away.

And, if for any reason, you ever want to change your offer, you can do it right from you handset, our IVR agent ? Simone, through our web site http://www.virginmobileusa.com or by giving us a call.

If you have any additional questions or concerns, feel free to contact us via the web or by dialing 1-888-322-1122 or * 86 from your Virgin Mobile phone.

Basically the twit told me its $0.20 a minute unless I want to pay $6.99 a minute.

The dumbass I talked to today didnt quite get that far. He tried to double talk me that bullshit right off the bat, and I ripped him a new one every which way.

I quoted the pamphlet word for word. Told him theres 0 mention of having to pay $6.99 for $0.10 minutes. I told him I want the plan advertised, $0.10 a minute- Im not paying $6.99 a month for it, I want it as advertised not what you guys say after the fact.

Turns out this must be very common. The story got real strange. He told me its not the card, but having to add it as a "voice/minute pack". I said WTF dude, I bought your fvcking $20 card thats supposed to be 200 minutes. There is no other card. So quit feeding me bullshit.

He ended up going in and fixing the account somehow :attitude

Damned kumar...
