Well as for the subs, you'll have to make sure that you've got enough room to house the enclosure, so make sure an account for that (lots use the spare tire well in the trunk for that)... As for amps, really the imaginations the limit as long as you give them air to breath. You can go either completely hidden or windows to see the amps underneath... with one that I did in the past for a suburban... I did false floor in the back with amp underneath with crossflow fans (one pusher, one puller) and used plexi for a window with light tint applied... and the sub was mounted under the rear seat, nothin really special there as it was a 12" in an elongated sealed box (I think like 1.5 cubes)...
