You can put them wherever you want without problem. Consider, though, trying multiple different placements. I would personally try to get them as on-axis as possible so you don't lose any efficiency. Also, the phase or reflections might be funky in one aiming/placement to another.

Alright guys, it's been a crazy process getting these Elevation Audio concert series components up and running. I'm not there yet, so I have a question. :sm29:

I'm mounting tweeters right now. I'm mounting them to the factory location in which a little metal tweeter housing is. The magnet on the tweeter is attracted to the metal. Is this a bad thing? If so, how can I fix this problem without switching locations?

Word!

[quote="cargodz"]What components are you installing?... I ask because if you're running them off the h/u, the H/U may not provide enough power to them to get a good sound as most H/Us only produce 15-25watts rms... Most people amp them ]

As for running new/ larger wires... the easiest way normally is to connect the new wire to the stock wires and pull them through the door, if that cannot be done due to the stock wires being to small and may break, you can use fishtape or metal coat hanger to fish it through.

I guess I have to run new wires for my components. All I have are main speaker wires at my HU and I think those are to small of a gauge.

I need some advice, what's an easy way to do this? Do I run the speaker wires the way the factory speaker wires were ran? Through the grommet in the door? This is my first time trying this out. :argh
